Carlos Ocana Arroyo
Carlos Ocaña Arroyo started studying Violin in the Professional Conservatory at Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, and achieved his Superior Degree in Violin in the Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid with Santiago de la Riva. He finished his Post-degree studies in the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam with Peter Brunt. He finished his Conducting Degree in the Conservatorio Superior of the Basque Country with Manel Valdivieso and Arturo Tamayo in 2016 and broadened his conducting learning in the Opus 23 Academy with Miguel Romea and Andrés Salado until 2017. In 2016 he has been Miguel Romea’s Assistant Conductor in the VERUM Orchestra. He is also Conductor and Founder of the Tantris Ensemble. He has been semi-finalist in the Orquesta de Córdoba Conducting Competition 2016 and 2017 and in the Nino Rota International Conducting Competition in 2017.
